Dose it better poot set on pic 1 or 2 (why)?? And is it better to set below bulkhead circle (pic 2) or clasic rubber pic 3?
And does it better to set clasic SUBFRAME MOUNTING FOR REAR OF THE FRONT FRAME with rubber pic 5 or like on pic 4???

Or just poot set like on pic 4!!!

Thanks

The rubber stuff standard for post '76 cars.

The alloy pieces in pic 1 and rear steel mounts (pic 4) give a solid mounted subframe.
It gives sort of more precise and direct steering.

Most people replace the front mounts ('behind' the grille) with solid mounts too.
I'm not a fan of that, as in my opinion the frontend needs to be allowed to move a bit to reduce stress.

Mind you: it is advisable to reinforce the floor if you use solid rear mounts (pic 4).

solid top mounts are fantastic, leave the floor and front panel ones rubber and it will drive great and should not experiance floor cracking

Just go for solid top tower mounts and leave front teardrop and rear as rubber You only need solid all round when racing .................. :(

Thanks guys!

And solid top tower mounts wouldn't crack bulkhead?? And between bulkhead and subframe is better to set washer like on pic 3 or circular like on pic 1 and 2, or that isn't essential!!!

Thanks again!
Regards
