Hi people,

Though i'd keep you all informed of the latest on the mini work I am doing for "twig101" on here. Basically project consists of top notch audio equipment including: 11.4 inch screen in dash along with dials to show various reading. 8 inch screen, starter button and rev counter in center console which is pretty much done (I will take pics and post soon).

Doorcards consist of Diamond audio D661 Components, So after sketching a few designs we decided on what formed below:


Still a fair amount of smoothing and then a couple of stages before finishing but they are well on the way and everything fits nicely.
We where restricted as we had to keep the original fixings so shape was limited.

Real challenge underway at the moment is 2 x Diamond M5 10 inch subs in the rear quaters mounted at an angle.

There ya go well on its way!

We will be producing a full set of doorcards, center console and rear quarters for the classic mini yes. Once "twig101"'s car has been fully finished. They will not be the same as twig101's however they will be very similar. We are also thinking of doing custom doorcards, center consoles and rear quarters to customer spec. for instance if you would like the doorcard to have the tweeter in the bottom corner this could be done fairly easily.

Exact colour is yet to be decided on which isnt a problem as we will spray everything thats been done in one go which will be cheaper for us anyway. Think it will be a silver for all the custom interior parts we have made and maybe house of colour blue for the exterior.

I am sure to be interested in the near future, i have been looking for a suitable application for mounting speakers in the doors.

that door card is more or less exactly what i want to do, (started but gave up and got the mini trailers pods) can you give any pointers on doing this, or pics from start to finish?

are you wanting pointers on how to make these from scratch mate? I'd be happy to help of course we are happy to produce you a pair of doorcards to custom spec if you would like also.
