Hey is it possible for me to buy a high quality technics system which is reali load :saywhat: and fit it in to the boot of my mini maybe put a fancie board over the front so you only see the face of the 5 disc changer, amplifier and possibley the 2 speakers?
Is there any problem doing this volume sound wise?
also this would run at 220w i think so can you just use a converter
Thank you for the help

it'll sound terrible - Home speakers are made for big rooms, not small cars.
Please dont do it.

No offence mate. But your sounding a bit like a chav.

I have a Full ICE install which i have fitted myself from scratch.
the list as follows.

Aiwa 200 watt Head unit with AUX input - £150
JBL GT-O 6X9s on rear shelf - £35
SPLX Coaxail 10cm 2 ways on dashboard - £11...

My system is pleanty loud enough, Not sure on the DB of it, but the sound quality is great. The head unit goes up to 32. I can have it at 27 before it starts to distort.

I really wouldnt put a HIFI in your car, I had HIFI speakers in my car once and they were pap...

140DB isnt that hard 2 achieve if u have the right set-up, with a CAR soundsystem that is!

but in a mini u run out of room and start making stupid decisions like taking the back seats out like i did!
