As the title says really, don't really want to faff around with CD's, went into Halfords but they didn't really have a good choice (only had £150+ ones in when I went). I swear I found a ripspeed one for about 70 quid but I can't remember where.

Anyone know of any?

Is it this one, I work in Halfords and we are in short supply of this model, may be worth phoning your local store and asking them to do a local search.

That's the one yerrrrp. Cheers.

Can understand it being popular. No idea why I couldn't find it online...

Well theres three Halfords within reasonable driving distance from me so I might go for a round trip and see if they've got it.

There anymore like that for the same money?

I have a blaupunkt stereo in the Subaru which has a slot for an SD card, and I've had no end of trouble with it... basically it does not recognise many/any of them...

If you can, see it in action first and try it with one of your own SD cards first, last thing you want to do is buy one and find none of the SD cards you have work...

do a google search for In Phase IPS920SD they go for about £60 i had one and it was ok navigation was a bit poor but would still have it, if some rubarber hadn't nicked it when i left my totalled golf at side of road (couldn't shut the door). Has usb and a sd card reader built in, for the money not bad.

Thanks for all the info guys.

I'm gonna have a look around. The ripspeed ones look really good at the mo, but a bit too pricy.

Going to raid Argos tommorow when I go into town for my new indicator stalk (damn thing puts high beam on when im trying to indicate...) LOL

Another halfords employee here, a small word - try and make a differnt choice so you dont have a ripspeed unit. Bet you will bring it back within 2 months wanting something else!

check out www.caraudiocentre.co.uk, good range of sd units and at very good prices, i get all my audio equipment from their local store to me and the service is fantastic. i had a setup problem and they sorted it free of charge, plus if you go in to a store they will go setup every head unit you like the look of and guide you to the one best for you. on the unit i got, getting it from them saved me hundreds of pounds compared to halfords and they actually convinced me to go for a cheaper unit than i was looking at, bit mad i know but thats service for you. the inphase range is very good and good prices too
