Hey all

I know there was some problems with the shoutbox and its miss use some time ago but, isnt it time to reinstate it for a bit?

We've never had a shout box. I can only assume you mean a third party site that allowed you to have a chat/shout box on any other website, by way of amending the URL, or something similar. The only reason it didn't carry on was because no one really used it.

Oh my bad.......sure there used to be a shout box, or chat facility at the top of the page......?

As I say, it was only through the use of that third party.

We've discussed having our own chat room, etc a number of times, and the idea always gets turned down due to bandwidth, not being able to moderate it effectively, and lack of demand/consequences to forum chat.

ah fair doos, would be cool but the forums more than good enough!
