The DVLA are the most infuriating people I have ever come across

I am trying to sorn my mini for a month and I have the V11 but there is no ref number on there. I know it should be on there. I even though where it should be, but instead there is a big empty space.

There is also no address on the letter either (again I know there should be.) I have finally found a DVLA address off the website to post it in to but no doubt it will go to the wrong people (even though I have put SORN V11 on the envelope and get lost.

All I want to do it sorn. Without a ref number I cant do it online. So I phoned them up to do it by phone. And guess what, the service is fully automated... "please enter the ref number on your tax disc reminder" what the hell!

So its in the post, on the way to DVLA no doubt immendtly about to get lost and cost me god knows how much in fines.

Thank you DVLA drop the ball once again why dont you, you suck.

I know how you feel, the DVLA are so annoying. They have to make everything so bloody complicated!!!!!

Had the V5 at home. I was trying to get it done before I left the office. I had the reminder. and it was meant to have a ref number on it. Its just the ref number and address weren't present.

do it by internet. On there website it so easy! click on the bit where you want to go ie sorn and type in your reg. Click sorn and job done. Give you a reference number. Sorned straight away.

I wrote them an extemely snotty letter on that exact same subject just a few months ago - they obviously didn't pay much attention!

If I remember correctly, there was a box telling me that I should do it online in the exact spot that the reference number should have been .

You cant do it online if you havent got wither the ref number from the letter or your V5 number. Just the reg wont do.

Again the same. As usual you dont get to talk to a person anymore its just all this automated rubbish so when you have a problem, theres no one to talk to. You cant do it by phone if you dont have the ref number!

Go to the post office ( i guess they are still around where you work!! lol ) takes 5 mins!!
