You could

Get a sub
connect the speakers to an amp
Get some somponents up front

The possibilities are endless.

Ok you can buy subs in boxes from places like Halfrauds.

You wouldn't need a custom one or a paticularly powerful one. But if you do get a sub you will need to buy an amp to run it from. You can usually pick the pair up for less than £100 from Halfrauds or have a look on ebay or on here.

Unless your looking into doing a competition sound system, you don't need anything too powerful.

For example my Mini has

1200w JBL sun powered by a 800w SPLX amp
2 x JBL 6x9's powered by a 400w SubZero amp
2 x 3 1/2 inch Fusion speakers and 2 x 4 3/4 Fusion speakers both run by components complete with tweaters
2 x Lanzar 5 inch speakers up front
Powered by a XPlod head unit with 2 pre outs and 1 sub specific pre out.

This is more than adequate and I only have it all in as I love loud music and I would also like to do competition sound offs at some point.

u could get the kit for the boot that makes it look tydyer and put in a nice hole (if u have the wheel space) and put in a sub and then put the amp in the side so that u still have boot space
