i've got a Clubman estate with no CD bracket on it. 3 clocks on the right behind the steering wheel(no dashboard either, just a shelf). I was wondering where i could put my CD player? Pictures of yours would help :- cheers.

You can buy holders which sit under the bottom dash rail on the passenger side.

Only other options are to buy a dash with the DIN sized slot some place or a Centre Console with the same. Unless anyones been more creative?! :shifty:

i was thinking about this for one of the minis i have the other day, someone who was potentially interested wondered what he could do about his flip out screen cd player as the car is original with only top and bottom dash rails and 2 clock binacle and i got to thinking, the carrier designed to go under the bottom dash rail on the passenger side, how hard would be to mod it and put it the other way up in the middle of the dash above the switch panel i.e where it would be in a wood dash and whether you would even need to mod it at all?

I have never personnally had such a carrier out of a car but im sure there is someone out there who can shed some light on it, just an idea, hope it has helped.

Under the drivers seat, Wont get robbed... Wont get seen, and all youve got to do is remember where the volume and play button is... but as i use my mp3 player through Aux in, i have full control through that anyway.

..just used a cd player tray upside down, and fastened to the floor.

Oh yeah .. speakers... 6x9's just fit in the rear bins, and the magnets help hold them there.. apart form that,

smaller speakers in the rear parcel shelf, 6x9's under seat, speaker pods in the front..
make enclosures for the rear bins..

i've got an ipod compatible CD player, so i use the CD player to control the IPod. ipod just sits in the glove box or wherever and never needs to be touched.
