Hi,
I am about to fit sports pack arches, but am not sure how they attach to the car. Bolts are already fixed to the arches. For the front, after drilling some holes, it looks easy enough to put nuts on the end and tighten. But the holes for rear arches seem to need drilling where the body is double skinned and the bolts don't look as though they're long enough to pass through both skins?
Any help appreciated.

You will need to cut away a section of the front wings to fit the sportspack arches.
The rears i understand fit without too much prior modification. I don't think there is a double skin. You have probably drilled into the car interior behind the panels.
I have been told a template is available to fit these but don't know where it can be found.
I am about to fit a set and have similar concerns as yourself.

You can fix the panels pretty much however you want. Rivets, screws, nut 'n' bolt!
The rear arches will need to be riveted/screwed tho because you can't get at the other side of the skin!

I don't know how the non genuine arches are fixed, but the rover ones have captive bolts moulded into them. It is then a matter of cutting away the front arch, drilling wholes in the wings in the right place and ataching with nuts from the inside of the wing/ boot/ car. The templates can be found on the Minispares website for free, only if you are registered with them. Its adviseble to drill all mounting holes about 8mm to ease alignment of the fixing bolts. I learned after fitting the first set.You can fix the panels pretty much however you want. Rivets, screws, nut 'n' bolt!

james_redfern I have the template PDF files, if you PM me with your email address I'll zip them up and send it to you for you to print out.

Yeh... I didn't have to plug it this time....
PS... if you do use the templates, can you have a digi camera, how about writing a "How to Guide" to complement the arch templates on the CD ?
