How do you tell it it is a Harmonic type - or do you mean they used the same one on all engines?

I think the early ones and small bore ones have a all steel pulley with no rubber damping...

The damper's there to absorb the twisting vibrations of the crank when it turns at around its natural frequency. A 998 pulley will get you mobile but I'd still keep looking for a damper one.
That is the plan.
Need to get it all together - then whip the one of the engine thats in it atm

It was listed as a 'pully', might want to search for that as well as pulley/puley? People spell things wrong and they don't come up when you search spelling things right.
Hope you find one soon!
