Breathers

as you can see from the title iv decided and told that it would be a good idea to change my breather filter but me being new to mini (only 16) can some 1 please tell or show me were they are on a 1992 mini mayfair 1275cc?

On the left of the photo, is the brake master cylinder. Just to the right and below is a breather. It is bolted to the top of the clutch casing and has a rubber hose fitted to the top of it.
This hose goes to the carb body to take any crankcase gasses into the combustion cycle.

Hi Samski,

There are two breather pipes in your photo.

If have circled the crankcase breather cannister in GREEN
The first RED pipe goes from this to the carb. Dotted line is the approximate direction the pipe will run - obscured in photo by air cleaner inlet.
The second RED breather pipe comes from the timing chain cover - other end of engine , near radiator, hard to see in the photo (and to get to)
These two pipes will probably join at a Y-piece before entering the carb.

There are no breather filters on yours, but yes, the pipes should be clean - remove and blow out with foot pump if full of gunk!
