hi
as you may have read im putting a FG front on next week, and was wondering about 2 things.
what do people do about the front body seams, where the FG front meets the a-panels?
do they just cut the seam finisher down to above the a-panel? and leave the bottom bare?
and
what do people use to stop the FG wings rubbing on the scuttle, as i would imagen it would take the apint of very quickly.
would the rubber sill trim work?
many thanks
adam

When i did mine i removed the seam lip off the front end and it seats nicely next to the original seam on the a-pannel. So meansi i can still use the whole seam strip cover.
As for the boint by the scuttle, you will have to leave a bit of a gap, and adding a rubber finishing strip should pretect it a bit better.

why not use a rear window seal and put it on the edge or you could use clear plastic edgeing strip in the front edge to protect it

I'm using fuel hose, cut along its length, makes a good edge trim.
