Hi guys,

Another gearbox question bought to you by my stupidity.
Tapped the main shaft to the right to get at the double roller bearing, then all of a sudden it poped the 3/4th syncro hub, balls and springs everywhere (as you know). Ive got all the balls and 2 of the springs but cant find the last one, can you buy these springs all are they specific to the hub? Also can I rebuild the hub if I find the springs.

Thanks guys.

P.S Anyone got a 3/4th syncro hub :D.

Paul.

Its ok found the springs on mini spares THANK GOD!.

Still :D for doing it though, knew what could happen aswell, but couldn't get the drift in well enough, how do you guys drift out the bearings? Hit the middle race or outer?

Paul.

Not having much fun with it are you...

To get the double roller out easily you would make ( or find a special tool ) which is basically a big thick "C" shaped spacer which is placed between the 1st gear and double roller, then you tap the bearing out.
