Weber 40 Fuel Pressure

What fuel pressure is required for a weber 40DCOE? Is the standard mechanical fuel pump without pressure regulator sufficient?

4-5psi i believe. For a good spec engine, it would need to be regulatored to provide constant pressure and most likely a elec fuel pump.

Im running a std pump on mine atm with a std 1275 and is fine even when giving it serious abuse!, not sure what im going to do when the 1330 goes in though........ :dontgetit:

You should ideally run a solid state Facet electric pump as close to the tank as poss. Use a regulator (Filter King is about the best) to regulate the pressure to 4 psi as said above.
