Can anybody tell me the difference between a normal dry rear subframe and the rear subframe on an MPI?

I know that the MPI one has added support for 13" wheels, but can can you tell the difference by looking at them?

If someone could post a pic or describe it then that would be brill

Many thanks in advance

Liam

As far as I am aware, there is no Mpi-specific subframe. Certainly no sportspack-specific subbie.

Rear subbies were changed from 1992 (I fink) to include the zorst hanger, but that's it.

yup, to my knowledge there was no changes to the subframe at all - wife had an MPI for a while and when i changed wheels etc there was no difference to the one fitted to my mini!

Only difference is the rear exhaust hangers that were fitted to late cars. you can fit a subframe without those hangers and fit bolt on ones that are freely available.
