Is there any way of removing the fan cowling from the radiator assembly, without removing or draining the rad/coolant?

The bolt at the top of the arrow loosens but then keeps turning, like there's a nut the other side. Anyone want to help?

no

or at least i can't think of a easy way

maybe if you dropped the subframe and engine out of the body you might be able to do it but it would be a lot of work

Easier to flush the cooling system and pull the rad off then. Oh well, a coolant change never hurts, and the whole rad could do with a clean anyway. Just thought there might be an easy way out!
