My fog light switch has been like this since I rebuilt the car but as the mot is tomorrow and it will fail because of this I need some help. The Light on the switch does not light up when It is on however it lights when I press the break test switch. Anyone got any ideas what wires are wrong.

Thanks

take the switch out and check the wires to the bulb (not the plug but the 2 spade connectors on the side)

1 should go to the multi plub on the back and is the live the other should go to a earth point

Fixed it but weird. Had the earth connected but when I put on the hazards the fog light would flash as well. So I connected a separated earth from the fog light switch to the body then connected the earth that was first connected to the fog light to the body as well and everything works fine now. Weird anyone got any ideas?
