Hi,
I have installed a basic sound system in my Rover Mini Cooper. Everything works fine, whilst the car is stationary, CD's play and sounds great, but, as soon as i drive, due to the hard suspension and handling of the vehicle, the CD jumps about and I can't listen to a song properly without it skipping or jumping whilst driveing along. Im sure that there is nothing I can do about it, but I wondered if anyone has had the same problem and has managed to resolve it.
I am quite a hands on guy and will probably end up making some contraption with springs and dampers, but I thought I would post my query out first before I put on some old clothes!
Any ideas would be appreciated,
Joe Hunter

Mine does same thing, does get better when its warmed up.
But only real solution was to buy an mp3 player transmitter, and not bother with cd's. Mp3 transmitter is one of those devices that plugs into mp3 player and turns it into a mini radio station so you can hear the sound by tuning into a preselected radio station.
Although I'm going to swap my head unit for one with a USB port so I can plug the mp3 player directly into it.
