just spoke to a so called "friend" where my van is kept at his house (being honest a little longer than expected) and he has said if i dont get my mini van moved he's gonna scrap it!.i have been expecting him to say something and i've tried sorting somewhere but it's not available yet and i cant afford to rent a garage as my income is non-existant at the moment.

so if your in medway or close and have somewhere i can store my van for a month max then let me know or have a lock up where i can stick it in a corner out the way just to buy me a little time.

in return i will help you out with either working on your car or some beer money where i can

yeah been ringing up for garages in my area tonight, £50 deposit plus a quarter(3 months) up front that's £170 just to get the keys! damn, local letting agent has said approx £80 deposit for keys but that was a while back and our council is useless

Try a few online sites. I cant remember the name of the one I searched on but I did find a couple in the Medway area for a five or tenner a week which is pretty reasonable.

Try using Google.

Is the van driveable? Worst case scenario park it outside your house and put a car cover over it. But dont let him scrap it :)

it has wheels just ones like when you go shopping,i wish it was drivable and i would'nt be in this situation ;)

been looking online (gumtree ect) and it's not the weekly cost it's the deposits people want upfront that make it hard works out on average £100-175 i dont have that spare at the mo

There are garages to rent in Walderslade on Churchill avenue, towards the bottom near the field. They are just off a small side road (Brambledown road I think) I rented one there when i lived on Churchill

Have you spoke ML? Maybe Andy will let you keep it just outside his workshop? Or he may know somewhere you can keep it.

Surely it can't be scrapped without your permission.... assuming it IS in your name?

hahah, no you wouldnt :D . Trsut me mate, if i had room i would let you keep on there anyday, but thats the reason i dont have a mini yet, my dads got a sorned 4x4 he hasnt used in about 2 years sitting there, hes been saying hes "selling" it for a good few months now  I want a minmin

Good to see you've found somewhere though buddy. I woudlnt trust anywhere but my own Garden when i get my mini though, after what those kids did to that Worseley 1.5 and Riley elf at the top of my road :xxx: Its got worse now, they've sprayed there "tags" on the Car, i just feel so sorry for it sitting there with its little circle head lamps :( if i knew who owed the breakers i swear i'd have it by now :(

Glad you found somewhere! :)

me too where the van has been kept it's got itself in a right sorry state, and given me some more rust to deal with :)

i thought about asking andy but im always being cheeky and asking favours of him,i was tempted to buy his old van too

it's in my name but there is no vin plate/reg number on the van as it's a bare shell,i've left it so long i could'nt blame the fella for wanting it gone, even though i'd be damn *drunk* off if he did and probably do something i'd regret.

craig i drive past that house often tis a shame to see those cars just rotting away like that
