I might be wrong but i think your insurance will go up quite a bit after you pass your test, as there wont be an experianced driver or whatnot in the car. Goodluck on your test!

well, no it's NOT. it's not a cooper se, it's a mainstream cooper, as in standard production model, NOT an RSP cooper se. the truth is, they probably don't have the normal cooper on their system, only the cooper se and the 1.3i cooper. it is neither of these.
it's one of these....

and not either of these...

this document will explain the difference between the standard (mainstream) cooper and the cooper SE (RSP)... click
if you want full details of what your car actually is click on the "mainstream cooper register" link in my signature. take a look in the archive area of the forum

Top marks on Footman james! £1300 fully comp and £600 TPFT so thanks a lot. ive got my test on thursday, so if i pass, ill definatly be interested in those super lites with yokahomas! how much are you lookin at for em??
You do realise that as soon as you bolt on your nice (i personally prefer 10’s) 13” wheels and wide arches, you’ll have to tell the insurance people as it’s classed as a non standard modification, and more than likely they will charge more for the privilege. Do not however be tempted not to tell them, as if you do have to make a claim, wheather it be your fault or not, because of the undeclared mods you insure will be void which not only means you have to foot avery big bill but also be in very deep trouble for not driving with insurance, etc…
