Hello - I am new to the mini scene and here is my new car!



She is a 1982 Austin Mini 1000 City E

Generally in very good condition but there is a few bits which need attention

-Bottom of the doors are flaking a bit
-Small rust patch under front bumper
-and a possible MOT failiure 'bodged job' in the boot (EEK!)
-Also, when fitting rear seatbelts I cracked the paint slightly, want to get that sorted (nothing major)


Eventually, I want to sort out the interior. I'll add more photos tomoz

Saw this advertised for sale, did you get it from Croydon from a dealer?

If it is a bodge job in the boot, and is an MOT failure, you could try get some sort of compensation from the seller saying it wasn't roadworthy under the sale of goods act a vehicle has to be "fit for purpose" and if it is an MOT fail then it's not really fit for purpose..

Anyway, it looks a really nice little car, keep us updated!

yes i liked the look of this one when Mr. Chris was looking for a new mini,

show some pictures of him in the flesh!

(that was the picture on the sellers site i do believe?)

Cheers Guys! Its a her by the way. lol - Got her from 'Croydon minis' they were really helpful and great people. came with 12 months MOT, so it did pass, just some MOT places might pick the thing in the boot up, was told it might fail because its not 'fully welded'?!?
