Before I start to build my next engine up(998 Turbo) I would just like to know if the A Series sounds any different with a T3 turbo bolted to the side. I know the obvious things like the dump valve and slight whistle will sound a bit different but what will the exhuast sound like. Ive heard cars that sound pants once converted to a turbo induction set up and im just begging it wont be the same case with the A Series.


Any thought will be much appreciated.

maniflow do an exhaust that is specialy for a turbo, supposed to be too noisy on a naturally asspirated car. dont no if that would help it sound good.

Turbo minis are generally quieter than their normally aspirated counterparts as the Turbo acts as a muffler/silencer. If you like the loud noise then a decent singlebox 2" system should satisfy you.

Cheers boys. I remember seeing one of those Maniflo systems. I think its called a MegaPhone if I can remember. Would a 2 inch not be tooo big for a turbo then?

2" will be fine for a Turbo.
