I just wanted to show you the work I've been doing to my seats.

I purchased the seats from ebay for the princely sum of £50 for a pair of seats plus nearly new subframes and hinges, they were in a little of rough state as you can see here. one of them has a huge hole in the arm which had been haphazardly covered with a square of black cloth

so I got them back to the ranch and stripped them of their covers and cleaned the carcasses thoroughly before setting to work on a role of leatherette fabric. after a few hours of drawing out the patterns and cutting the fabric up I spent a couple of hours at the old sowing machine I was left with somthing that resembled an elephants gimp mask. I then got busy with a staple gun and a hot glue gun and the results are pretty good.

these seats cost me a grand total of £75.

the rest of the fabric will be going on my custom doorcards.

and the money I saved will be going into the fund for a BIG engine.

so..

Whaddaya think??

Looks good!

I think I did well, I bought a pair of Cobra Clubman Seats and subframes for £50 (For the pair + subbys)

One of the seats were Mint as mint can get.
The other had a small hole which ive now stitched up, and the foam had moved and came off the frame of the seat, I took the cover off and put it back on.
Jobs a gud en.

Thanks muchly for the comments!

They weren't that hard to do, the only tough bit was getting the new covers on and stapling them, because the fabric doesn't have as much give in it as the old ones.

The pimp my ride thing would be cool but i don't think I could go for more than 5 minutes without smacking Tim Westwood right in the balls.

For Shizzel!

Gonna start working on the custom doorcards tomorrow or the day after so i'll stick some pic's of that up when I'm doneski
