Hi, I've just joined the wonderfull world of mini ownership.
On Sunday night, my wife won a 1990 mayfair auto on ebay for £240. No tax or MoT, but she thinks, " It's not that old. Can't be to bad"
The car arrived on Tusday. It runs, goes fowards and backwards and side to side. The interior is in good nick, five good tyers and all the electrics work.
But the RUST
She has fallen in love with this car and it MUST be put back on the road.
So if anyone can recommend a good garage in Cheshire to replace a sill and weld a patch on the rear subframe I'd be very gratfull.
Also how hard is it for a relitive beginner to replace both A panels, front wings and front panel. I do have a little welding knowledge.
hello & help!!!!

firstly, welcome to the forum
secondly.... Bloody hell! Talk about a baptism of fire! Your best bet is to find a good garage and get them to do the welding! Lining up front panels can be a real pain in the Arse!
