Hi Everyone!

As you may or may not be aware, myself, apbellamy and a few friends are competing in a European banger rally at the beginning of April.

We have entered 2 teams to participate in a banger rally around Europe known as the "Coyote Rally" to raise money for our nominated charity "The Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice".

If you want to learn more about the charity or the rally please view the links below.

http://www.bluebellwood.org
http://www.coyote-rally.co.uk

The rally begins on the 5th our itinery is as follows:-

April 5th. Dover to Paris
April 6th.. Paris to Munich
April 7th. Munich to Prague
April 8th. Prague to Finish line in Amsterdam

Whilst this may sound an easy task, bear in mind that we will be doing the rally in a 1988 Metro van purchased for £100 and a 1994 Cavalier bought for £207 with over 160,000 miles on the clock!

The rally is not just a case of driving from A to B, we will be expected to complete a number of tasks on each leg of the journey.

These tasks range from mild and mundane to the downright insane and outrageous!

To make matters worse the days challenges will only be revealed to participants on that morning!

Hopefully we will make it to the finish line in one piece!!!

When we get back there should be plenty of pictures, a few stories to tell and (hopefully) not too many breakdowns!

If you would like to sponsor us anything you can give would be greatly appreciated both by ourselves and The Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

You can donate by clicking on the link below.

http://www.justgivin.../thecoyoterally

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

If you would like to donate but prefer not to do it online please email [email protected] and we will send you info about alternative methods to donate.

If you know of companies who would like to sponsor us please put them in touch with myself or ask them to send an email to [email protected] and we would be more than happy to display an advert or logo on one of our vehicles and forthcoming website in exchange.

Thanks for looking!

There will be plenty pics to come.

One thing that doesnt bode well at the moment is that the cavalier is broken down and has been for the last month!

I'm sure it will be at least semi operational before the rally however.

Hi Guys,

We got on fairly well apart from a couple of mechanical issues one being a blowout at a genuine 100MPH on the Autobahn.

Will post up a more thorough rally report when I have more time. But for now here's a couple of action shots.
