Don't hold me to it, but is it something to do with the oil?

An Oil Breather maybe...

well its a breather from the clutch case not sure why people put breathers on there might be something to do with cooling but its not an oil breather

it is an oil breather filter.

On some engines, they have a oil breather canister on the transfer housing aswell as one on the timing chain end.

Yeah the filters are actually renound for slowly clogging up the engine with oil vapour since the original design re-routed the vapours back up to the carb to be burned off or something like that! But it's style over substance here, there are too many pipes and cables in the engine bay for my liking, even if they are all there for a good reason!

Not made a start on the fibreglass yet, I've got work all weekend (should be getting ready to go now but I'm on here lol) so I'll get on it first thing monday I promise! When I got in late last night I did drape the material over to see what kind of overall shape I was gonna get, and it looks really cool, all curvey and whatnot lol ;)

That looks really cool. Love all the detailing you have done. Great balance - some people end up painting or chroming everything but you got it spot on. I'll echo what others have said too - love the applejack colour. A brave choice but you pulled it off and have a car to be proud of.

Keep us posted on any further updates.

im sure you'll all agree that my boyfriend has done a fantastic job so far, although he keeps saying "don't worry, it's not finished" lol :)

i did pick fusion speakers. being a girl i picked style over quality (yes, typical girl lol) but they're not too bad and actually match the car very well :D

interior needs a good clean out and change, black bucket seats with black back seats to match?? not sure if black bucket seats can be bought with green piping, looked at all the IMM stalls and couldn't find any...

anyway hopefully a move to university won't hold up this progress...

driving test in 5 days!! :)

Thanks for the kind words guys, makes it all worth while :D
I know its not a full nut and bolt rebuild like some projects, but I am working hard at what I do, so the encouragement is appreciated ;)
Got down to finding some material today and made a start wrapping the enclosure. Its really fiddly work hence my taking a break to come on here lol

Heres how I'm getting on, I'll go back and finish now I promise >_<
