minicooperman, I don't think p155 off is a genuine plate. A mate of mine used to put it on at shows for a bit of a laugh. Not sure if the dvla would let it slip through the net! It was on a black mini with 13" revs if i remember correctly.

not to put a damper on things as the wheels, and calipers and having a new shell just realy should not be wasted on a Kseries engine !!

i work in a garage for a living and to me its the WOORSED engine .. ok there 'ok' if there ok ..
but they ALLL blow head gaskets and then mess evertghing else up thats connected to it !! ...

i still dont know why they even carry onusing them, specially in the freelanders ... BIGGEST mistake ever that no wunder rover went down the pan ..

just stick with real decent A=series mate ...

Mick ..

I must admit I wondered whether the Vtec or Vaux lump would be more suited, but if you got it on the cheap...

i was going to do a honda vtec but i got the k series i had to have some spacer made for the rear wheels as the metro is a bit wider than the mini the spacer i had made bolt onto the rear wheel studs i have put them on the car and she's going to be wide when she's done.
i cannot wait. :dontgetit:

my mate has got a MG ZR 1.4 (k series) and it is a great engine, he has had some engine work and a few bolt on mods and it flies, had it RR'd at 134bhp, which is pretty ruddy fast lol.

it sounds really nice too, willing to rev and had a very good power band, smoooth!
