Picked up a replacement engine for the 69 Elf thats been awaiting resto and engineless since 2005 / 6 but I'm curious about the engine number as the sequence is wierd....

9AD-TA-H###

Any ideas? I'm sure its a 1000 and it doesn't really matter just curious.

9AD would be an Elf number I do believe  Remote shift, 998 I think.

Edit from mini mania:

9AD Austin, Wolseley Hornet & Riley Elf Mk2 with remote type gearbox and closed
circuit breathing
