Model: Rover Mini Sprite SPI
Year: 1993
Description of problem:

Any non-standard parts that might be involved with the problem?

I was told that using the FINAL DRIVE 3.6 CWP AND PINION (from MiniSpares, part no. CWP3-6) would affect the accuracy of the speedometer. Is it true?

If so, what other components/parts need to be purchased to adjust this?

if you are changing the diff , up or down , it will affect the speedo reading , if you know what has been fitted as factory standard and is still fitted to the car ??,
the wheel/tyre size - diff - speedo drive gears and speedo gauge , they all work together to give you a rough idea of what speed you are doing ,
if you change any one it will give a different reading ,
do you know what you have to start with and what you want to end up with ?????
tyre size ?
diff ratio ?
speedo drive ratio ?
speedo gauge ratio ?
