I'm in the process of stripping out the loom from my project MPi as it's been completely bastardised by some muppet who fitted non-mpi indicators and headlamps to the car, as well as hacked bits in and out in other places in the engine bay. I've got a whole replacement loom and would ideally like to replace the whole lot, but I'm not sure yet how the rear / body loom gets to the boot? Is it through the sills or under the carpet? Is it worth replacing the rear part of the loom if it looks ok, or should I try and split the loom at the fuse box?
Cheers!

Mine is cased in a yellow plastic tube type thing, and sits under the carpet on the passenger side, in one of the ridges in the floor
Hope that helps

rear loom runs down the passenger side inner wheelarch (inside the car), along the floor and into the rear bin. it then goes over the wheelarch into the boot between the rear seat upright and the inside of the 1/4 panel.
at the left hand end of the lower dash rail is a connector block that connects the rear loom to the main loom - so if your rear loom is ok you could just disconnect it there.
the yellow plastic tubing encased wiring is for the srs which is a seperate loom again and this connects into the main loom near the fuse box, runs to the steering column, belt pre-tensioners and srs ecu under the rear seat.
if you need a couple of pics let me know as i have a car near enough stripped but still got the loom in place.
thanks
