hi my mini has been sat still for about a month outside in the elements. I have recently started using her again but i have noticed water in the footwells. It wasnt there when she was parked up and i havent driven her in the rain or through any puddles! Its almost as though its sat somewhere and spills over when i move! Any ideas where it could be getting in from or where it could be collecting? I cant see any rust holes or anything inside where it could be coming through! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Mine did this when i first bought it. Turned out to be the door seals.

Mine comes in because the passenger door isnt quite sealing properly, and on the drivers side the plug in the footwell is missing!

i put i thin l ayer of talc powder on my floors and then blasted it with a hose pipe for 15 mins and you can see were the waters coming from then because the powder soaks it up and goes a funny colour. bit of a pain in the backside to hoover up though.

i found that water was coming in through the bottom window seal, and then dripping through from behind the door card!
