Hi, Just wondering what views people have on Fusion audio. To be honest I thought it was just tacky crap you found at halfords but after buying the twin 12" sub box it changed my mind!!! I bought it brand new for £75 (they were on offer - couldnt resist as the single sub box is £80!!!) and its the best thing ive bought for my car so far.
So how good are other Fusion products? as I need some 6.5" comps for the front and maybe some 6x9's for the rear shelf, maybe a headunit if it will help (current one is a cheap Kenwood)

Cheers

I have a pair of 5 1/4 inch speakers and 3 3/4 inch speakers with components and tweeters by Fusion. They are pretty good, but one of the components has broken already!

I'd much rather spend my money on well-known brands that consistently top the competitions. Call me a consumer *woman of ill repute*, but that experience and know-how has to filter down to their cheaper products on offer somehow.

fusion do some good stuff.

generally the stuff in halfords isn't the best, but fusion, alot like other audio manufacturers, also do hi-spec competition audio.

as the saying goes though 'you get what you pay for'

It all comes down to how well it's installed. At the end of the day, a set of fusion comps in well made sealed enclosures and with well positioned tweeters, runing off a well matched amplifier is going to sound better than a set of dls, or rainbow comps loosely screwed into the dash with slap dash tweeter placement running off the headunit.

where did you get that offer for £75? that sounds quite cheap! I have never owned any fusion as In my opinion I love rockford Fosgate power series but that does sound like a good deal!

its crap

oooo wow!

Such a good arguement there!

if you have nothing to back it up, theres no point in posting.

as said, fusion is good, if... your using powerplant.

but the other stuff is reasonable for its price,

the way to tell if you think its any good is ask for a demo, get one installed to run in your car temp. and test it out, decent car audio specialists will do this for you.

Just because your chav mate hasn't got it installed, in his 'cool' 2nd hand corsa doesn't mean that the stuff is generally 'crap' as 'mini in black' has most likely got his opinions from.

its simple as, if you buy cheap, you get cheap.
