Before I took it to the MOT I replaced the cat and the lamber, I also changed the coil pack, HT leads, plugs and did the oil and filters, so now im not really sure what the problem could be…
If any one has any ideas please let me know.
I did have a look, but I cant find anyone local that I can plug the ECU into to tell me whats wrong, and I don’t want to drive it if I really don’t have to as it has no MOT, tax or insurance…
Any help really would be great as I need the car ASAP.

most likely to be either a dodgy sensor or the injectors are clogged give it some redex and go for a spin on a private road

The only thing i can really thing of is an ECU fault, as its having the dodgy reving at cold starts, but this does when up to temp, but the idel is still lumpy....
Another thing i realised was its sucking up a hell of alot of air throught he filter, not like normal its like the sort of pressure you get out of a hoover...

was telling the ecu that the engine was cold all the time and overfueling it.

had a similar problem on a peugeot and it was the temp sensor.
was telling the ecu that the engine was cold all the time and overfueling it.
I had the same with my old Astra.
