It's organised by Andrew Greenwood who does the Malvern show & they are hoping that this show will get bigger & better each time !
I will be there on our clubstand again.

im unsure now as i was looking forward to it, but its a long way to go if there wasnt much there. although it might be better this year like you say
It was the first one at Newark last year & i had a great day but that could be because i only live 30 minutes away & won a trophy

We're looking to go down as a club and possibly get a stand, would this be possible?

added to the fact i won the pride of ownership award, which is sitting on the shelf above my bed and makes me smile everytime i look at it, who'd have thought i'd have beat all those shiny cars with a nato green scamp

Is there club stands available?

as far as i'm aware there is no club stands as such but if its like last year then clubs park together inside the showground. see the pics on our website by clicking on the nottsaboutminis bit below

I'm thinking of going to this one, it's on the 26th April isn't it? Not quite sure where Newark is really but if it's Midlandy way that'll be ok! really enjoyed malvern even though it was small! Is there a cafe or pub or something anywhere nearby for non-mini loving other halfs? (
) Or is it a countryside type show?
yes it is on the 26th april, newark is about half hour northeast of nottingham, half way between nottingham and lincoln(see link below).
there are some nice pubs around, maybe a garden centre type thing but not walking distance though, i dont think.
at the last one in october there was also a dog show on at the same time so who knows this time. had a quick look and it seems its a rock and gem fair, could be bad news for the bank balance.lol
just to point out to all that the last show at newark was a test to see how much interest there would be, and because of the great turnout last year andrew greenwood is planning bigger this year i've been told. possible camping at one of the newark mini shows but it looks like it'll be the october one.

The best bit for me was that all the cars that were to be judged were driven into the ring - which means that the cars were actually driven
(sorry to be like this but sometimes concours just annoys me because it turns the cars into collectors items - cars are meant to be driven

Will Certainly be going again this year, cracking little show, should be bigger and better this year

Last year they only let Minis into the showground so club members can park up together - see you there
