you know the rally / racing style black crossed out headlights is this illegal for the road?

ive been driving round for a year like it no issues but i would say yes illegal as it does stop some light however it is hardly noticeable unless you are on top of the car with the lights on.
my argument would be that its no worse than those rally style chrome stone guards you can buy!

i depends if it alters the beam pattern, as long as this is still ok and the full brighness is getting through, so no using 2" black gaffer tape lol

race cars dp it so in the event of an accident they don't leave big chunks of glass on the track

Thats because you have your lights covered on black tape.
