howdy all, i bought a maniflow lcb for my mpi ages ago, still havent got around to fitting it yet! i've been reading about the huge rise in under bonnet heat levels that come from the use of an lcb. so i looked into heat wrapping the lcb which would supposedly improve exhaust flow along with stopping that hot air from being sucked into the engine. i then came across info that suggests that heat wrapping can cause the manifold to crack and warp and because the wrap retains moisture it can cause the manifold to rust very quickly. so that option is out. i'm just concerned about this extra heat that the lcb generates as the air and fuel intake are directly above the maniflod!??has anybody got any solutions or is the heat even significant enough to be worried about in the first place?
