hi guys.

im quite new to the mini scene and have just bought a mini 35 and have started doing her up. stripped the inside out and im replacing the sills , floor pan and painting yellow.
Im also picking up a flipfront tommorrow and was wandering if anyone has fitted one so its flips up the opposite way round. and i would love to fit gas strutts aswell

any advice would be great

To make it flip back towards the screen you need to use special compound hinges that allow the front to move forward while it's lifting. There are a couple of companies that do them or you can make your own.

Here is a kit from America, which also includes gas struts.
