It's so sad, nobody deserves to die like that, I feel so sorry for her family especially her sons. She was so young!

At least it's over for her now and she can rest in peace.

Raised the awareness? I'm pretty sure we already new how much of a killer Cancer is..

I'm not gonna kick up a fuss, but I think it's stupid how this Country has reacted to her misfortune.. the Sun & those other *melony* papers have given her page after page of tributes and she's done nothing for this Country, she's famous for being Racist on Big Brother for christ sake! She's married to a crook.

What about the other thousands of people who are dying/suffering from Cancer, where is there recognition? I know people who are affected who are out there doing good by running for Charity & raising money, not sitting on their arses doing *melon* like she did.

I for one aren't bothered in the slightest, RIP & all that.. but the majority of this Country is a joke for giving her the attention she wanted.

Well said that man! What really annoys me is that the other year people were practically wishing death on here because she was racist on BB... Now they've got their wish, and she seems to be practically sainted because max cliffford has worked his PR magic on her. Makes me sick. I've had some funny jokes too, but I feel TMF might not be the place...

The 'Jade Goody' effect has seen a massive increase in the number of women going for cervical screening, according to cancer specialists.
A university in south-east London has seen 21 per cent more women coming for smear tests since Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer last August.
Experts believe that women who have read about Jade's plight in magazines have been spurred on to go for tests themselves.

Nobody would wish that horrible death on their worst enemy but the hypocrisy of the tabloid press in particular is stunning. She was famous for doing nothing very much apart from making racist comments and being thick, was vilified by the press until becoming ill and then suddenly became saint Jade of Essex. The sooner people get over this cult of the celebrity the better IMHO

People will hate me for saying this, but here goes anyway...

I was never a fan of jade - anybody who makes fame out of their own stupidity must be really desperate!!!

I admire her sentiment with raising awareness for cancer - whether it was needed and whether it had the desired effect still needs to be proven...

I feel sorry for her, for the physical pain that she has gone through, and for the mental pain that her and her family have had to suffer, but let's all please spare a thought for the millions of other people who are in just as much pain as she was, and who are preparing to leave behind families just like she is...

It has annoyed me throughout all the media coverage etc that people seem to forget about the other people who are dying from cancer, and who suffer from not quite so serious cancer cases aswell.

Jade was a controversial character, but I don't think that the whole world needs to moourn like she had planned with the Princess Di style funeral - that's just blowing her won trumpet a bit too much...
