such a shame about the engine mate :/ keep us updated with the new engine build :)
just noticed your only round the corner from me to, i'm only in westcliff !

Well i was going to start another topic with the new engine build but to be honest when im out in the garage working on the engine and building it up i kinda just get stuck in and with greasy oily hands wont really end up taking photos but i will be putting the occasional image of the engine build on my facebook which you can see HERE. Excellent well you may see me around once its all back up and running. You part of any mini club?

yeah i'm part of southend mini action group, but i dont get down there as much as i'd like to as i tend to finish at half 8 on a weds night :/ what about you?
shall have to go for a drive one day then! there's a few people around this way who have them!

Accepted, yeh we should do. Two of my friends have just sold there mini's so i still have one mini friend. There are plenty of minis around thou.

I havent been to the mini club yet, was thinking of joining the essex mini club.

lol i seem to be the only one that drives mine daily -.- but i have got 2! Yeah I keep meaning to go there, its in Thurrock right? Snags fairly close by to you it's only at the anchor in canewdon

Well my mini was my daily until i brought a mondeo for £200 and decided to split my car usage. Handy having another car for the winter or if you need to do any repairs to the mini.

Its in orsett, on the A128. About half way down.

Yeh i keep meaning to go but i end up forgetting or doing something else. Might make more of the effort in the summer.

Does anyone have a rough idea how much power i might be putting out?

Unless they've improved 'em a LOT, 84BHP @ wheels, been there done that..........
Oh yeah check that they've started offsetting the bores.

I had the 1380 rolling roaded and tuned and it was 72bhp and 78 Ft/lb torque.

I used the engine and gave up on it in the end, ive posted on page 2 about it.
