I have a 96 cooper with two alarm fobs. One works fine, the second does not, so i have just changed the battery. Still does not work, is there a way it can be "taught" by the working alarm fob? If not, any suggestions. thanks.

The fobs are pretty fragile, if you drop your keys/fob often, or just chuck them about, the circuit in the fob gets damaged, and it basically forgets all the programming.
My old fob did this a whilse back now, and I needed to get a new fob and get it programmed in! Cost a fair bit...
If your other fob works fine, then just use that, and be careful with it!
