just a quick one,
i am getting forged 1.5 rockers, i have an mg "slanted" rocker cover, the one with the red cap, will they fit underneath? (and run)
someone said they wouldnt but i thought it was just roller rockers.

The 1.5 roller rockers are quite a bit more bulky at the adjuster nut end, this is because they are constructed form alloy not steel.

My Titan roller rockers would not fit under the MG cover I tried the steel cover and it was worse. I had to get the mini-spares cast cover in the end.

A colleague at work has minispares forged 1.5 rockers under the standard tin rocker cover and they are fine, the MG should therefore fit.

If it is tight you can always grind the inside of the cover slightly to make more room.

Not jumping in here - but if you need a square top cover I have one for sale atm - just needs a good polishing / autosol.

Sorry to ruin your sale, but the forged (ie. Steel & Not rollers) 1.5 rockers will not hiot the rocker cover. Or at least they didn't on my Minifin cover (same as the MG cover but with a separate breather) and running a 286 cam.

its ok, i wasnt going to buy it anyway i dont have any money left and kerrin has already said that the mg one will fit forged rockers, its good to know that someone would have told me, im pretty sure now that it will fit, well i was sure then someone told me otherwise
