Have just fitted, & wired up my Voltage gauge and my clock. Working fine, but how the hell do u set the time??? The needle in the voltage gauge takes ages to travel up when connected. Can I have it permanantly connected like the clock or do they have to be wired to ignition live? I also have a amp gauge, silly question, but why would i need to use one, whats its purpose?

because the voltage gauge is connected across the live and earth it uses power

if permanently connected it will drain the battery

a ammeter shows you the electrical load being used in amps, if you need to know this then use it

Pretty much yeah, put it inline with the brown feed wire that go from your power cable to your fusebox.

It should show the load on the battery from anything that is connected to the fusebox.

No i don't know how to change the time on a smiths clock, is there a screw on the back? most clocks have a nob to turn on the front.

If its the same as my smiths clock then there should be a black knob on the front of clock at bottom beside the bezel, you just push that and it should change the time.
