Not sure what to say other than what you see it what you get, loads and loads of carbon fibre parts custom made, mostly curley, any part which can be made carbon is, simple as! Aluminium race seats, 238bhp with the bonus of tax free and therefore MOT emissions free :) the bonus of having a real old car i guess

Also the exhaust is way way too loud as its only one box (well over the 100db trackday norm) should be thrashing around this or the next weekend says zcars

DUDE!! seriously nice car mate. Just a quick of question. I spotted the window winder on the inside of the door, are they steel doors with c/f door skins or have you been able to build in the winder mechanisms into full c/f doors?

well nice mate,

Do you have an idea of overall weight reduction?

I did it cause i love carbon and no one else has on a mini, i have a thing for being "different", plus i hate polishing and clean carbon is much easier

As for bolts and glue i dont understand? the front is a one piece special from curley, they did it with a panels and the seam too which looks awsome, and all the bits are put on with bolts like a normal fibreglass part

I have no idea on the weight reduction and trust me, the K20 is fast enough not to need to reduce any weight on the mini, i only did it for looks and to be different, personally if you want to save weight, DONT just rotrex or turbo the K20 and run 400bhp all day! (my v near future plan)

The doors are skinned in carbon, have realised how hot it gets i needed wind ups so skinning was easier than full carbon doors and trying to put winders in, ive also ordered some nascar safety nets so i can track day it with the windows open and not have to worry about rule or my hand going out the wind when something bad happens
