Right lets get the party started, sorry i meant the project!!!

I have decided to build a Z-cars mini after seeing the original white R1 powered car on their website a while ago. I was gonna build a busa powered westfield but priced it in excess of £15k so looked a second hand but then you miss all the fun of building it. Then i came across a link to z-cars and it just made sense........You would expect to get blown away on the track by a westy but not a humble looking mini................Project sorted

I am a couple of weeks into it now as i sourced the car from an elderly gent nearby. I have started to strip and sell some of the parts i dont require for the conversion. Kit from Z-cars is ordered and paid for and expected in 6 weeks, Hayabusa motor off E-bay. Thats enough spending for now

I was going to do a website like ADE's but i wouldnt have the time to build the car between work and family aswell. So i will stick to this forum.

It is now stripped of it's interior and engine/subframe assembly.
Rear subframe and fuel tank and lines to remove and sundry items like lights and doors etc.
I will sort some more pics later as they are all on my camera at the moment.

Cheers Mark :wales:

Cool, got a few mates who were well into their rallying, one of em used to work at Skip Browns in Nantwich, he then set up his own company doing up MKI and MKII Escorts (didn't last long though unfortunately).
