Does anyone know where i buy a new 12 slat mpi grille?

I have searched the usual places (minisport / somerford mini) etc but no one seems to stock them (unless i'm just being blind lol

Cheers

Didn't even know the MPi had a special grill, but then again, I'm not surprised, everything else seems to be???

Hang on a minute, just counted mine and it's only got 8 !!!!!

Ah right ta for that, minispares website is so strange and weirdly mapped, if you follow the menu and click on "grilles/brightwork" and then under the subcategories menu click "grilles", half of the grilles you can see if you just search "grille" aren't shown.....?

Sorry for topic hijack jamesmpi! Pretty sure mpi's either had the 8 slat or the retro wavy look grille from factory >_<

My old car (beige dented 5 door pug 205, tweed interior) was a shed. Still had it when I joined up

I'm sure i've got a 12 slat grille?? although an 11 one may be a good replacement.

My Mpi is a little different because it is not a sportpack or a cooper etc.....on the V5 it is just called an "mpi". Originally it had the skinny 12" steel wheels, and so it doesn't have the cooper grille which has got 7 or 8 slats.

The photo is a bit small but you can see what i mean about the grile

this is the grille you are looking for, minispares sell it for £39.10 inc VAT part number: DHB102140MMM Linky to the later internal relese version-----> click me...

its the later after-market internal release version of the Mk3 grill part number: ALA6654MS Linky to the original external version -----> click me...

if your not sure about what type of mini it started as chances are it originaly started like this one? as these were factory non coopers
