Trying to fit my new aerial, as the top was snapped off.

But.!!! (dun dun dun)

I cant seem to get the old one out therefore unable to fit the new one. Its a side wing mounted aerial

I thought you just unscrew the top but i cant get a grip on it and everytime i do it still wont budge. Holding it underneith doesnt do anything either seems fixed on staying there!

Any help please?
