Iv fitted MPI stalks so now need to fit a steering boss that will allow the horn push to work...
My steering wheel has the horn push, but no slip ring of any kind, and went to look for one at brooklands mini show and every boss i looked at they just said run the wire up the side... mmm yea so it twists up!!
I saw one on ebay that huddersfield sell, that has got a wire sticking out the back so i asked them about it but they didnt know anything.
Clicky.
Any ideas what ones work and what don't...
cheers.

So are you using an MPI wheel or an aftermarket one?
I swapped mine from an MPI setup, i'm using the airbag style wheel with the 2 horn buttons. What i did with mine to get the horn to work, was use the airbag 360 degree wheel thing, soldered the horn wires to the colum side, then used the plug that usually plugs into the airbag, cu off th plug, the wired the horn button to that. Which now means i have the horn working off the steering wheel and it still able to turn 360 degrees without the wires getting twisted up.

Mk1 Minis had a horn push in the wheel. You may be able to adapt the slip ring and brushes to the later column if you can find any.

wood and pickett do a boss kit that fits Mpi columns so the horn push still works. only fits mota lita wheels and mpi columns though.

And only works with columns having a slip ring already in place of course, getting the wires through the wheel boss isn't the tricky bit.
