the police person needs informing of his mistake, otherwise he can't better himself and achieve his full potential

If anybody under 14 doesn't wear one, it is the driver's responsibility. If Over 14, it's your own responsibility, but the driver may also be fined...

AKAIF, the law mae it compulsary to fit rear seat belts only in 1987... However, if an earlier car has been retro-fitted, then it is a legal requirement to wear them at all times...
If anybody under 14 doesn't wear one, it is the driver's responsibility. If Over 14, it's your own responsibility, but the driver may also be fined...
and if any car was made with rear seat belts before 1987 you can't remove them and have to use them... yes ??

I was just erring against being gobby to one of Her Maj's finest - but didn't really think Tom was being any more serious than we are.
