Anyone know whats the best make of mini alloys on the market? I have recently bought a 1975 standard mini and want to put a set of minilite style alloys on it. I've bought alloys in the past and after a year or so the lacquer always begins to come off or stain.

Also would 5x10's fit my age of mini with body mods? Dont want to do anything to the body as I want to keep it standard.

Where can I find out futher info on my age of mini?

proper minilites are the way forward. pricey compared to the copies but you get what you pay for.

x3

Mine are nearly 5 years old and have covered around 50K in all weathers and apart from a bit of brake dust that won't come off, they still look really good (especially with the Stainless nuts which were expensive but worth every penny!). I once knew someone who bought a set of wheels which within 6 months had lacquer peeling off all over the place. Not sure what make they were though. Also a lot of places will only give you a 6-month cosmetic warranty, which kind of admits the problem!
