Has anyone used golf cart wheels on their mini?

Is this possible or a stupid idea?

many people have asked and been shot down in flames.

they are NOT safe on minis, as they cant handle the loads that a car would put through them and would result in them failing and causing a crash

I contacted a couple of companies a little while ago about these types of wheels but was told theyre illegal to use and are only rated for off highway use.

As theyre not strong enough to for the weight of a mini

Theyre are lots of pics on ebay or google of the types available though

Stupid idea, golf karts don't go that fast. I hazard to guess the rims wouldn't cope with road surface, are not that strong, and aren't safety approved. Insurance would likely be invalidated. Also they come in silly widths and finding tyes might be a problem.

The only reason i say is that ive been looking around and seen some amazing looking 10 x 7's.
But yeah youre right they would not be engineered for the stresses i would put them under on a mini!

Just an idea! if a stupid one!!

everyone should do a search first. this is not me being rude, but its like someone asking "do 13x7's fit under sportspack arches???" when a five minute paruse on the search function would have saved everyone elses time.
